Booking & Payment

How do I book a tour with Pure Nomad?

You can book directly through our website or by getting in touch here. Once we receive your booking details, we’ll confirm availability and send you a payment link. Your booking is confirmed once we’ve received your deposit and issued your booking confirmation. Please bear in mind that not all group trips are guaranteed departures.

How much is the deposit?

A non-refundable deposit of £200 per person is required to secure your place on any tour. If you’re booking within 60 days of departure, full payment is due at the time of booking.

When is my final payment due?

The remaining balance is due 60 days before your tour start date. We’ll send a reminder when it’s time to pay.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major debit and credit cards.

Do tailor-made trips have the same terms and conditions?

Additional terms apply to our tailor-made tours. These can be found in our Booking Terms and Conditions.

Can I make changes to my booking after confirmation?

Yes — if you need to change your travel dates or details, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • One date change is free if made more than 60 days before departure.
  • Further changes incur a £50 administration fee per person, plus any additional costs from our suppliers. Changes requested within 60 days of departure are not guaranteed.

Cancellation

What is your cancellation policy?

For tours including Naadam Festival and any Tailor Made Tours, cancellations made within 60 days of departure are non-refundable.

Will I get a refund if Pure Nomad cancels my tour?

If we must cancel your tour (for example, due to low group numbers or force majeure), you’ll be offered:

  • An alternative departure date,
  • The option to upgrade to a private tour (with supplement), or
  • A full refund of all monies paid.

Tour Experience

What group size can I expect?

Group tours typically run with a maximum of 14 travellers, depending on the destination. Each trip has a local guide throughout and may include additional local specialists for certain activities.

Are your tours guaranteed departures?

We aim to operate every tour as scheduled. However, group tours require a minimum number of travellers to run.

If your chosen departure doesn’t meet this minimum, we’ll let you know at least 60 days before departure and offer you:

  • A transfer to another date,
  • A full refund, or
  • The option to upgrade to a private tour (at an extra cost).

What kind of accommodation do you use?

We select locally owned guesthouses, nomadic yurts, boutique hotels, or traditional stays that reflect the character of each destination.

Are Pure Nomad tours suitable for solo-travellers?

Absolutely! Our group tours are designed to be solo-traveller friendly. All group tours are on a shared room basis so you’ll be paired with another like-minded traveller. If you wish to have a private room then please let us know when booking your trip. Single supplement is available on most group tours for an extra cost.

Can Pure Nomad tailor a private itinerary?

Yes, our Tailor-Made Tours can be customised to your travel dates, group size, and interests. Simply fill out a form here with your ideas, and our team will create a bespoke itinerary for you.

If such an event occurs, we’ll do everything reasonably possible to provide suitable alternative arrangements or reschedule your tour. If alternatives are not possible, you may be entitled to a refund in accordance with our Booking Terms & Conditions.
